Everything about this lovely sauce tureen--the beautifully enamelled decoration with flowers and urn, the molded and painted-on shell edge, the intact gilding, and of course the baby sleeping on a basket of fruit--make this charming and elegant piece stand out from the crowd.

The attached undertray has had some restoration; namely that the two pieces had become unattached and I have had them professionally put back together, but there are no replaced parts or other significant damage.

The undertray is 8" by 6½".
