Probably made by William Greatbatch around 1765, this pair of creamware tea canisters is a design known as "fruit basket."
They are standing on 20th century painted wooden bases with matching covers. They stand 6" high (including bases and covers), and are in generally good condition with a couple of little nicks around the collars.
