This little brass tea kettle was made in the Netherlands in the early to mid 18th century. It retains its original cover and the hinged section over the tip of the spout.

It's had a life....a few dents (nothing terribly serious) and one teeny hole near the top, but you probably wouldn't want to boil water or brew tea in it anyway.
