This style, made between 1770 and 1790, is commonly known as a State House Windsor because that is where so many were found.
|

This chair is presented in excellent condition with restoration limited to an old butterfly repair to the seat.Under the later paint are traces of perhaps the original red and/or green.

This chair is similar to the example shown on p. 72, #47 in Carl Santore�s Windsor Style in America .
