Built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1863, this vessel, fore and aft rigged, primarily carried iron ore and coal around Lake Huron. Her home port was Detroit, Michigan.
This anonymous watercolor portrait was probably commissioned in the 1860s and is mounted in a period frame measuring 22 ½” by 30” overall.
