Some would call this wonderful jug "Pratt-type" although the decoration is painted in overglaze enamels rather than the typical underglaze Pratt colors. Nevertheless, the detail on this example is the most elaborate we've seen.

The colors and the body of the jug are a bit brighter than they appear in the images. Note how the tree trunk is formed into the handle.

In excellent condition with only a small chip on the rim. No restoration. Circa 1790. 8" tall.
