SOLD Creamware Teapot |
This early teapot has some elements that are found on the earlier saltglaze, such as the fold at the handle terminus, the molded spout, and the simple knop. It is decorated with "Kings Rose" overglaze enamel--a popular pattern in the 1770s. There is some restoration to the cover; the bottom is in good shape. It measures 5 1/2" tall and 3 7/8" diameter. |
