This charming silk needlework was made by Mary Anna West when she was 11 years old. This information was found along the lower edge of the silk, written in ink. Although we have covered it with the frame, there is a photograph of it in the description.

Circa 1820. The frame is of a slightly later date, but enhances the charm of the piece.

Overall dimensions are 18" wide by 21" high.
