It is amazing thta this rosewood piece has survived over a century and a half in mint condition, with its original finish. Made in New York City around 1850, it has a handle, a dovetailed drawer, finials, turned feet, and elaborate piercing surrounding the lyres on each side.

Originally for music; also a handy and distinctive magazine rack.
