We can't imagine that the person who decorated this little saucer had ever seen an eagle; probably not even a picture of an eagle. But we love it for its naive quality, it's strange number of stars, and the silly and off-center sprigs around the eagle.

The saucer measures 5.5" in diameter, and is in great condition. The bottom has a decorator's mark in underglaze brown.
