This schoolgirl sampler was "executed" by Margaret Tompkins, who lived in upstate New York. She includes her family record, as well as the usual alphabets and a picture of a house (her own, probably).

The sampler is in excellent condition, and was made by Margaret when she was 12 years old, in 1829.

It measures 20" by 24" overall and remains in its original frame.
