SOLD 1730--1780 |
Made entirely of figured maple, this early splay-legged tea table originated in Eastern Connecticut or possibly Rhode Island. The original two-board oval top has a generous overhang and is supported with nicely turned legs which splay both ways. The simplicity of design and the pure originality of this early form justify its inclusion in a collection of fine Americana. 26" tall, top is 27" x 31". |
