August Edouart, the greatest of all silhouette artists, cut this portrait of a lovely young lady in 1831. She is not identified, but Edouart signed the work and affixed his label to the backboard.

She is in her original maple frame with a gold liner, measuring 10 3/8" x 14" overall.
