Did ladies use stirrup cups? If so, this delicate hand-shaped smaller size example would have been perfect for Madam. Traditionally, a stirrup would have been given to hunters on their way out to follow the fox, or to departing guests as they left a home after a visit--one last drink to see them on their way.
This pearlware stirrup cup measures only 3¾" tall and is in excellent condition.
