Not sure exactly what this figure represents, but it appears to be a fisherman's wife. She is holding a basket of eels! Her son is walking by her side, and appears to be trying to get away. She is holding him by the upper arm while he is pulling in the opposite direction.

I'm guessing by her dress and hat that she dates from circa 1800-15. She has had some minor restoration....please contact us for details.

She stands 9 ½" tall.
