A lovely marriage jug for Robert & Mary Gilhespie. They were married at Tynemouth on 21 September, 1816.

There is a charming verse about love on one side, and a transfer print of Tynemouth Haven on the other.

A small restoration to a chip on the spout, otherwise bright and cheerful. 5" tall, and made in 1816.
