This is a delightful pair of portraits on ivory of a brother and sister. There is some writing on the back of the little girl, and it says "Hannah W? 5 Years ?" Because it has darkened so much with age, it is difficult to read the rest of it.

The portraits rest in their original black frames with gold surrounds and brass mounts.

They are in excellent condition. English circa 1810. Each portrait measures 4 3/8" x 5" tall.
