In 1791 and 1792, Charles Knight printed two images created by artist John Russell (1745-1806), "The Favourite Rabbit" and "Tom and His Pidgeons." This pair was as appealing in the 18th century as they are today, and this is a lovely silk embroidered rendition. They are in their original glass mats and frames and are a pleasing small size: 6 ½” by 7 ½” overall.
