This diminutive bellows is just 10" long, and is of the painted Tunbridge type, made in England in the early 19th century.
The leather has just been restored by Ruth Devlin in England, and she did a superb job, making the bellows fully functional as well as beautiful. You might ask why we chose red for the leather, and the answer is that it had the original leather on it before the restoration, and this is the color it was. |
